A free seminar that will be presented this month by the TTU Tennessee Small Business Development Center can help start you in the right direction. Led by Vicki Henley, director of the TTU Small Business Development Center, the seminar will address topics of interest to potential entrepreneurs and new small business owners. Those topics include business startup basics, business structures, challenges for startups, business planning, cash needs, financing options, and more. One of the first steps to a successful business is a plan. A well thought out and executed business plan could be the difference in the success rate of your small business. The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University is hosting a seminar to help teach you the basics of writing that plan. Led by Vicki Henley, director of the TTU Small Business Development Center, the seminar will address the basics of creating and writing a successful business plan. The cost for the seminar is $10 and includes reference materials to walk you through the steps of writing a business plan.
